Our School Council
Children from each class from Year 1 to Yr 6 are elected by their classmates to represent the class on the School Council.
Their job is to take issues and ideas from their own class councils and feed them into the School Council. They also share ideas and decisions from School Council with their class.
Decisions made within School Council can, and do, have a real impact on the rest of the school.
The School Council meets every 2 weeks following a Class Council Meeting.
Please see our Constitution below
How do we elect School Council Members?
Each candidate produces a manifesto and presents it to their class.
We then work with the Wrexham Electoral Office and set up polling booths and a ballot box in our school hall. Children cast their votes for the candidate they want to win confidentially.

February 2022 - Each week every class decides on a Class Member of the Week. The School Council had an idea to celebrate everyone for being themselves. This isn't based on achievement or attainment. This is based on a celebration of each pupil and how unique and wonderful they are. Everyone in the class pays the Class Member of the Week a compliment. What a boost to our well-being to know how valued our personal qualities are by our class mates!
