In Dosbarth Catkin, we aim to ensure all children have a successful start to their school career. We make sure children are supported in becoming independent, active learners through building happy relationships with staff and exploring our fantastic indoor and outdoor environments.
This term, our topic is 'Dyma fi' which focuses on the children learning all about themselves and each other. We will be exploring what we look like; our homes, our pets and encourage the children to discuss their likes and dislikes. We will be learning lots of new songs and Nursery Rhymes and having fun in 'Home Corner' as this terms role play.
By clicking on the file below, you will see the learning skills to be covered this term.

Everyday the children have the choice of milk or water to drink. We have water bottle in school so the children do not need to bring one with them. Please can the children bring a healthy snack into Nursery with them each day. This may be: fresh fruit, fresh vegetable, vegetable sticks with hummus, bread sticks, squeezy yoghurts, sugar free jelly, dried fruits such a raisins, cheese or crackers.
Please could parents ensure all children's belongings are labelled so we can help your child to be responsible for their own things.
In Dosbarth Catkin, we are out in all weathers come rain or shine so please make sure we have either a suitable coat or a sun hat so we can make the most of our outdoor learning space each day!
