Welcome to Dosbarth Elder's Class Page

In Dosbarth Elder, Mr Heitzman is our class Teacher and Mrs Davies is our class Teaching Assistant. We are very lucky to have Miss Jones who runs our Forest School with us every week as well. 

Here on our class page you will find all of the important documents you need and take a look at our learning in action. 

General Information

PE: Dosbarth Elder will be having PE every Thursday. Children will need black shorts or joggers, a plain white top and plain black trainers or pumps. Please make sure your child's PE kit is clearly labelled. 

Outdoor Learning: Dosbarth Elder will have Outdoor Learning every Tuesday with Miss Jones. Children will need outdoor PE kits as above.

Our Focus - Dyma Fi!

This half term, our project is Dyma Fi (This is me), where we will be celebrating our individuality. Through English and Welsh, we will be creating personal profiles about ourselves and others, exploring appearance, hobbies, families, and future aspirations, while also developing Welsh speaking skills. In Expressive Arts, we’ll take inspiration from local murals and street art in Wrexham, as well as the colourful work of artists such as Maya Hayuk, Kashink, and Keith Haring. We will experiment with graffiti, shape, colour, and pattern to express our own identity, and will also explore global cultural traditions such as masks and face painting. 

The homework activities cover the six areas of learning and are set as Must, Should, and Could tasks, so everyone has a chance to take part at their own level.

Helping at home
