Welcome to Dosbarth Elder's class page.
In Dosbarth Elder, Mr Heitzman is our class Teacher and Miss Camps is our class Teaching Assistant. We are very lucky to have Miss Jones who runs our Forest School with us every week as well.
Here on our class page you will find all of the important documents you need and take a look at our learning in action.
General Information
PE: Dosbarth Elder will be having PE every Thursday. Children will need black shorts or joggers, a plain white top and plain black trainers or pumps. Please make sure your child's PE kit is clearly labelled.
Forest School: Dosbarth Elder will have Forest School every Wednesday with Miss Jones. Children will need warm outdoor clothes and shoes that they don't mind getting wet and muddy.
Our focus - Natural World
This half term, we have a focus on both geographical and scientific aspects of the Arctic and Antarctic. Through a combination of map work, ICT, and research, students will develop an understanding of the physical features, climate, and landscape of the polar regions. Science investigations will allow for numeracy links to be considered and provide a fun and interactive learning experience for all.

Homework
Here you will find our Homework grids. This half term our homework grid is for 'Lets Celebrate!'. These homework activities are all based on the new areas of learning and are differentiated 'Must, Should and Could'.
